UPHOLSTERY AND FURNITURE PAINTING WORKSHOP

Experience the joy of making your own stylish and unique ottoman in ottoman workshop at Botany studio! I will introduce you to a simple upholstery techniques and furniture painting with a frame provided to you that you will then take home at the end of the workshop.

What will you do and make:

We will use high-quality, eco-friendly paint (Fusion Mineral Paint) which you will apply to an upcycled/reclaimed timber frame made by a local joiner from Orange. Each frame is handmade and unique with its provenance.

To upholster the top seat, I will introduce you to your tools and how we will  use them. Once you made the booking, I will contact you to choose from a wide range of fabrics.

If there is a fabric that you have and love and would like to use, please contact me to help you to choose the right paint colour before the workshop start date.

How long the workshop takes:

I will take us two Saturdays, each about 3.5h, starting 10am and finishing around 1-2pm.

This workshops is perfect for individuals who are interested in DIY crafts and those who are looking for a creative output or get-together activity with a friend. Also a great gift for birthdays or anniversaries!

This ottoman workshop is suitable for beginners or people who would like to gain basic knowledge and skill in upholstery and furniture painting.

What you’ll bring home:

At the end of the day, you will bring home a unique piece of furniture you created by hand! A DIY ottoman you made.

Ottoman size are: W 45cm x D 35cm x H 36cm

What you need to bring:

All materials will be provided, best to wear clothes that you wouldn't mind getting paint on, including your shoes. :)
