As handy as it is pretty, Bronte Breeze is graced with class and style. This versatile piece of furniture can serve as an ottoman coffee table, an extra seat, as well as a small table for decoration. Made from cotton of fabric and mineral paint, it is a footstool that adds more enhancement to your room.
This footstool ottoman is originally from a lady who lived in Bronte at Sydney Eastern Suburbs, 5min walk from the beach who decided to downsize, hence the name “Bronte Breeze”
In a bid to make the footstool look better, I sanded down the old varnish and applied primer on it. After that, I applied chalk paint by Jolie called Misty Cove. Since paint does not have a finish coat in it, I had to apply Acrylic paint by Murabond. I then sanded and scratched the corners to give a worn out and rusty look.
I replaced the upholstered seat with foam, dacron and fabric. The wooden board was in good condition so I reused it, I have only put in a new webbing. I also used fabric from IKEA, which was part of my very old stock before I started using repurposed fabrics. I finished it up by placing a yellow strip of colour right in the centre of the footstool.. Each side of the footstool has a different fabric pattern.
The footstool also come with a secret compartment hidden under the seat. Perfect to stash some of your precious possessions. The fabric lining is in deep purple colour, fabric fully upcycled from a bigger commercial job.

I ship this Item by a courier in a box disassembled, once you receive it, you just need to screw the legs back in.
