ROSE GARDEN OTTOMAN

Add a bright pop to your room with the petite and beautiful Rose Garden ottoman. With its soft hues and timeless design, this upcycled footstool is reminiscent of spring in the French countryside. It gives your interiors a perfect blend of casual and elegant. Use it as additional seating or as a footrest in your sitting room or bedroom. 

I found this ottoman on the street at Kensington, Sydney Eastern suburbs. It looked more like a small side table when I saw it. The original finish had yellow gloss varnish. I sanded it off, replaced it with Fusion mineral paint called Concrete, and coated it with clear wax by Jolie.

The stool didn't have an upholstered top, so I added brand new foam wrapped in dacron. The upholstery fabric is strong and durable, and its texture is similar to denim, called Dogwood denim supplied by Spoonflower. It is precisely measured and fitted on top of the foam and finished with white studs for a smart look.

100% sturdy construction cotton called Dogwood Denim. Single-sided, digitally printed in Germany using eco-friendly, water-based inks. The fabric is originally from Pakistan. Digital custom printing means only what is ordered is printed on and used. There are no rolls and rolls of material waiting to be used, and hence wastage is minimized.
